My Always Set clock does not work
This clock is designed to be a precision timekeeping instrument, and it will automatically adjust itself for Daylight Savings Time including the new DST dates beginning in March 2007.

The ALWAYS SET clock is easy to set, and the internal lithium battery will maintain your clock’s setting for years to come. To begin using your ALWAYS SET clock, please look at the ALWAYS SET controller at the back of the clock (refer to diagram below), and follow these steps:

  1. 1) Slide the MODE switch (8) to the TIME SET position, then slide the TIME ZONE switch (5) to the correct position for your time zone.
  2. 2) Set the LOC display (4) to the correct local time (note the PM indicator) by pressing the YEAR/MONTH/HOUR button (1) and the DST/DAY/MIN button (2).
  3. 3) Slide the MODE switch to the DATE SET position. Set the LCD display to the correct date (month digit is displayed at left, date at right) by pressing the YEAR/MONTH/HOUR button and the DST/DAY/MIN button.
  4. 4) Slide the MODE switch to the YEAR SET position. Set the LCD display to the correct year by pressing the YEAR/MONTH/HOUR button (year display will scroll through 2988, then begin again at 2005).
  5. 5) Using the Time Set Knob on the clock movement, turn the clock hands to 12:00.
  6. 6) Insert two fresh AA size alkaline batteries (6) as indicated in the ALWAYS SET controller (see Special ESD Notice below).
  7. 7) Slide the MODE switch to the RUN position. The hands on your ALWAYS SET clock will advance rapidly until they reach the time shown on the LCD display, and will then keep accurate time.

NOTE: This process may take several minutes, depending on the time set. If the problem persists, please contact customer service at 1-866-732-8668
My Radio Control Clock does not work
Choose either Auto-mode or Manual-mode to receive radio signal.

Auto-mode:
  1. 1) Choose the time zone where you locate (P,M,C,E) and DST (Daylight Saving Time). If your state adopts the system of DST, turn it on, otherwise, slide the switch to OFF. (Time zone: P-Pacific; M-Mountain; C-Central; E-East)
  2. 2) Insert one fresh AA size 1.5V alkaline battery, ensuring the right polarity. The positive end (+) of the battery should be inserted first. The second hand starts sweeping and stops at 12. Then, hour/minute hands sweep and stop at 12. Note: When the battery voltage is too high, the second hand may not set to 12, and the hour/minute hands will keep turning, so remove the battery and insert again after 3 seconds.
  3. 3) Automatically search for a signal. Allow at least 4 minutes for the clock to set itself through radio wave. During the reception, the clock should not be moved. After the clock receives the signal, it will take few seconds to 4 minutes to move the hour/minute hands to correct time, and then second hand moves within one minute. If the clock fails to receive the signal in 20 minutes, the clock hands will keep stopping at 12:00 and the clock will re-start reception in the next hour until it gets signal to rectify time.

Manual-mode:
  1. 1) If the signal is very weak or near interference such as TV, computer, electrical household appliances, the clock might not receive radio signal within 4~20 minutes. The best location is nearby a window. In the ordinary time, press ‘REC’ button just once to force the clock to receive the signal.
  2. 2) If minute hand and second hand move mutually during sweeping, it is normal.
  3. 3)When inserting battery, if the second hand doesn’t move, put the battery in wrong direction and then re-insert the battery in correct way.

Stop function of second hands: During 0:00-6:00am, the second hand keeps stopping. When the clock works slowly, suggest to change for new battery by removing the used battery and inserting a fresh one after 10 seconds.
